Join the Security Industry today!
 

In partnership with SNEF, MOM and NTUC, USE is embarking on an initiative by the Alliance for Action in Empowering Multi-Stage Careers for Emerging Workers (AfA-EMW).

This initiative aims to attract more Security Officers into the Security Industry, and provide mature workers with support in training and placement within the industry.

By signing up with this initiative, you will:

1. Be trained in the Basic Licensing Units (BLU) - courses and certifications required to obtain a security license*
2. Be upskilled in key skills such as Customer Service Excellence skills, CERT First Aid and CPR + AED certification, and Digital Literacy*
3. Obtain your security license**
4. Be employed by a Security Agency as a Security Officer

Key Requirements:

1. Singaporean / PR
2. Must be 40 years old and above
3. Must be medically fit for duty as a Security Officer

*Fully sponsored on a reimbursement basis: Participant to pay upfront and reimbursement will be given upon completion of courses and after completing 200h of work at the Security Agency

**Subject to screening and clearance by the Singapore Police Force Police Regulatory Department (PRD)

Cost

SkillsFuture Credit:

Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding¹.

Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP):

NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $500 per year for members above 40 years old) under UTAP¹.

¹Participants who pay part of the course fees using SkillsFuture Credit or UTAP will be reimbursed only for their remaining out‑of‑pocket payment.
